LIP BALM

Lips are more susceptible to elements such as cold, wind, and dry air because they lack the protective outer layer of oil glands that the rest of our skin has. Cocoa butter is a rich fat derived from the same beans as chocolate, and provides a barrier by retaining moisture on the lips. Shea butter and Beeswax form a smooth emollient for skin and guard against sun, wind and dry weather. This lip balm is high in anti oxidants and also has vitamins A, C and E, which are known to slow signs of aging. This recipe lacks harmful ingredients like petroleum based products, synthetic dyes and flavorings which are so often found in lip products. Instead, its raw ingredients shine, and Essential Oils are used to bring a subtle scent.
